今天在星球(论坛类的知识服务)中回答了一个问题,问题大概是问到了关于职业选择的问题,我回答的时候,反问了一下提问者“你会开车吗?”

上午回答该问题后,整个下午以及晚上我都在思考, 我真的会开车吗? 我有紧盯自己长远的目标吗?我有经常校准自己的当下吗?

其实一直有反思自己的职业选择问题,这事持续了两年了。从一开始的头脑风暴想创意 -- 我适合干啥 -- 我的长远目标是啥 -- 我干啥能发挥自己最大价值 -- 当下我干的是否符合长远规划 -- 我下一步的方向在哪里

最近可能也跟职场上的工作有关,跟自己的目标有些偏差,属于我理解的舒适圈发酵期或者说瓶颈期,等等吧。

按照自己给别人说的那样,其实自己该看看外面的行情了,我倒不怕看行情,只是空间太少了。最适合的就是做技术中台负责人,从0-1来帮助企业做数字转型。

今天上午,看到IBM2019年发的一篇关于中台的ppt,其实也是开了眼界,也算体现了自己之前的浅显见识。

之前,理解数据中台,是从阿里巴巴提出概念,大家盲从,到目前真正落地。其实中台关联的概念,包含太广了,小前端大中台数据仓库湖仓一体大数据数据孤岛数据资产数据合规数据建设等等。

用前面IBM的ppt来概括就是数字中台:包含业务中台技术中台

  • 业务中台:就是聚合业务微服务,提供更大的接口服务,侧重点在服务的整合。
  • 技术中台:就是除业务服务之外的中台概念,比如数据中台、开放平台、移动中台、DevOps、Iot、区块链等等。

从这个角度来看,我之前以为的掌握数据中台可以在当前数字化大背景下找到不错的机会,还是比较片面的,格局小了。

所以呢,有时候就是不能觉得自己会点什么东西,就让自己膨胀,要时不时压一压自己的膨胀感,告诉自己还啥都不是。然后抬头看看目标,同时多看看业内其他高手的输出,阶段性的矫正自己的方向,掌握自己的节奏,找到自己的收获。

那我接下来,要基于我个人的目标结合当前工作的情况,思考如何才是对自己更有利的选择。

这个问题,发表下自己的看法:如果自己想好了长远目标,这个问题很容易选择。

比如,要走技术专家线,毫无疑问,继续走开发打基础,做工具完成领导的托付。  如果要走管理,是不是考虑运维管理也可以呢?现在算不算一个契机呢?领导需要你,是不是说明有议价权,可以尝试谈一下是不是可以做这个小组的负责人呢?

就像前面说的,你会开车吗? 会开的话,这个问题对你自己做选择应该比较简单。  就像脑图一样,从长远来看,已经自动帮你选择好了分支,你只需要再细化就可以了。
